Day 1: Beautiful Garden, Leisure, and Local Flavors
Reach Udaipur by 10 A.M. and check-in to the hotel by 12 P.M. Udaipur is well connected by air, train, and road. You can take a flight to Maharana Pratap Airport or a train to Udaipur Railway Station.
Afternoon
Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, a beautiful garden built for the royal ladies. The garden has fountains & lotus pools which provides a peaceful escape from the city.
Evening
Head for Fateh Sagar Lake. Enjoy a serene stroll by the lake. Can try Local Street food at the Market by the lake. After spending some time at lake have dinner and & call it a day.
Day 2: Exploring the Real Heritage of City
Morning
Start your day with a visit to the City Palace, one of the largest royal palaces in Rajasthan. It is a majestic palace showcasing museums and courtyards. The architecture is a mix of Rajasthani, Mughal, and European styles. You can explore the various courtyards, museums, and rooms that offer magnificent views of Lake Pichola.
Afternoon
After exploring City Palace, head for Jag Mandir, A historic island palace located on Lake Pichola. It will be done on a peaceful boat ride. The boat ride gives you a stunning view of the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir.
After Jagmandir, head for Bagore Ki Haveli Museum near Gangaur Ghat. It showcases Rajasthan’s culture and history.
Evening
End the day with a trip to the Sajjangarh Palace (also known as the Monsoon Palace). Located on a hilltop, this palace offers panoramic views of the city, lakes, and surrounding countryside. It's an ideal spot for a stunning sunset.
Day 3: Udaipur to Mount Abu (164 kms / 3 hours)
Morning
After breakfast, leave for Mount Abu on a scenic route. Mount is a beautiful hill station that promises respite from heat with it's cool and pleasant weather.
Afternoon
Arrive at Mount Abu, have lunch and visit the world-famous Dilwara Temples. These stunning Jain temples, built between the 11th and 13th centuries, are renowned for their intricate marble carvings .The complex consists of five temples, with Vimal Vasahi and Luna Vasahi being the most prominent .The delicate craftsmanship on the pillars, ceilings, and doorways is breathtaking.
Evening
Head to the heart of Mount Abu, the serene Nakki Lake. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the cool breeze . You can take a peaceful boat ride (paddle or shikara) on the lake, which is surrounded by hills and rocky formations. Later, head to Sunset Point to witness a spectacular sunset over the Aravalli hills. The sky transforms into hues of orange and gold. Later visit Nakki lake market if time permits to shop for Rajasthani textiles.
Day 4: History, Peaks & Local Culture
Early Morning : Trevor's Tank
Start your day with a visit to Trevor's Tank, a man-made crocodile breeding spot and a paradise for birdwatchers . It's a peaceful spot for a morning walk amidst nature.
Afternoon: Guru Shikhar & Achalgarh
After breakfast, combine two major attractions. First, drive up to Guru Shikhar for panoramic views . On your way back, stop at Achalgarh Fort to explore its history and architecture . This groups the two farthest points together efficiently.
Evening : Peace Park
We will go and spend an hour at the Brahma Kumaris Peace Park. It's a beautifully landscaped garden with meditation spots, offering a calm and spiritual end to your adventurous trip
Day 5: Good Bye Hugs
Have breakfast, bid farewells and depart for Udaipur to catch your train or flight.
